The new video for my song, "Beauty". This song came about when Askold, my co-writer and co-producer, was strumming some pretty chords. Originally titled, "Pretty", the song literally wrote itself once I sat down and allowed the true meaning of the song to express itself. I realized that it wanted to be about how beauty is all around us, even hiding in what we think is ugly or bad; that ineffable something that exists behind, inside, and all around everything. For me, it is easiest to feel that something in nature but the real lesson is to find the hidden beauty in all things.
